DISPATCH MANAGER
AMSAF East African Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee the timely and efficient movement of grain and other commodities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing transportation resources, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining compliance with safety and dispatch procedures.
Key responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of commodities for both inbound and outbound movements.
Maximize transport efficiency through proper route planning and scheduling.
Monitor and control transport costs to ensure value-for-money logistics.
Maintain real-time updates of all dispatch reports and documentation.
Enforce compliance with transport safety regulations and internal procedures.
Guarantee that all orders meet client specifications and are error-free.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the grain or agricultural sector.
Strong understanding of grain management, supply chain logistics, compliance, and customer service.
Cost optimization and risk management abilities.
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
