We’re Hiring: Oil and Gas Coach – Good Drilling Practices
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Avanti Energy Services Limited is looking for an Oil and Gas Coach to support our client in the oil and gas sector. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with extensive drilling experience and a strong commitment to training and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Train ZPEB drilling teams on stuck pipe management, loss control, and other critical drilling practices
Evaluate and improve ZPEB drilling operations
Develop assessments and review major technical incidents on Tilenga
Conduct technical drills, paper-based assessments, and rig-floor training
Reinforce fundamental drilling best practices
Qualifications & Experience:
University degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
15+ years of experience as a Company Man, Rig Manager, or Senior Tool Pusher
Fluency in English and Chinese
IWCF Well Control Certificate (supervisory level), HSE, H2S, First Aid, and Firefighting certification
Strong interpersonal and mentorship skills
