Job Opportunity: Rigger
Location: Kampala or Lake Albert, Uganda

Avanti Energy Services Ltd is hiring an experienced Rigger to support construction lifting activities at our client’s production base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rigging slings, directing crane and forklift operations, and ensuring all lifting tasks are performed safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Rig and inspect lifting slings for construction hoisting
Direct crane operators using international hand signals
Ensure all lifting activities follow safety standards
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 5 years of lifting and rigging experience in construction
Senior school education or higher in mechanics or a related field
Oilfield or confined space lifting experience is a plus
Fluent in English with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Ability to prepare lifting plans is an added advantage
