Job Description: Microfinance and Fintech Operations Manager
Location: kampala
Experience: Minimum 2 years in microfinance, fintech, or digital banking
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in microfinance and fintech, with at least 2 years of experience in digital banking or financial technology. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth financial processes, and supporting our mission to provide accessible financial solutions to underserved markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of microfinance and fintech products, including EV bike and smartphone loans.
Implement and monitor financial processes to ensure operational efficiency.
Collaborate with technology partners to maintain and enhance digital banking systems.
Conduct risk assessments and manage customer onboarding and KYC processes.
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage reporting requirements.
Lead a small team of financial officers and support staff.
Drive customer satisfaction through efficient financial services and support.
Work closely with the leadership team to align operational goals with overall business strategy.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in microfinance, fintech, or digital banking.
Strong understanding of financial products, including digital loans and embedded finance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with mobile money systems and digital financial platforms is a plus.
