Assistant Lecturer/ Lecturer

Responsible to: The Head of Department
Terms of employment: Part-time contract renewable based on evidence of research, publication, and satisfactory performance.
Purpose of the Job: To teach, research, innovate, and actively participate in community engagement.

Minimum qualifications

A bachelor’s degree of at least second upper GPA 3.6 and above, which is relevant to the
department or discipline to which appointment is sought, recognized by the National Council
for Higher Education.
Master’s degree with a CGPA of 4.0 and above, and with evidence of a pedagogical
qualification for Higher Education for those without a background in education as a profession.
A PhD in the same area of specialization is an added advantage, experience of two years
teaching in a reputable University/ Institution, and must be computer literate and
knowledgeable about e-platforms
