Job Purpose:

To drive business acquisition by managing the end-to-end process of responding to tenders and proposals, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. To support revenue growth by securing new business opportunities through well-prepared and compelling bids that meet client and regulatory requirements.

Duty Station: Kampala

Key responsibilities:

  1. Identifying and Evaluating Opportunities: this involves searching for potential insurance bidding opportunities, understanding client needs, and assessing the company’s risk appetite in relation to the opportunities identified.
  2. Compilation of Bids: which involves the drafting of accurate proposals as per bidding with clarity and compliance.
  3. Physical presence at all pre-bid meetings, bid openings and sharing prompt updates
  4. Coordinating with various departments to ensure there is adequate technical input into the bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
  5. Submission of a monthly report on all bids submitted, indicating progress on each bid plus any other pertinent information.
  6. Ensure timely renewal of company subscriptions to relevant bodies such as PPDA, KCCA, Client references, etc.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution

  6. Knowledge of procurement and contract laws
  7. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
