JOB POSITION: CHINESE TRANSLATOR.
FOR NATIONALS ONLY.
JOB DESCRIPTION
➢ Translate technical documents, engineering specifications, project plans.
➢ Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy,consistency, and adherence.
➢ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between multicultural teams.
➢ Interprete during meetings, site visits and conferences as required.
➢ Maintain and update a glossary of industry-specific terminology to ensure consistency in translations.
➢ Assist with language-related inquiries and provide linguistic support to project teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
➢ Native English speaker with excellent Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
➢ Preference for candidates with relevant language certificates (minimum HSK 3.).
Professional Background:
➢ Translation experience in fields such as construction etc., is preferred.
➢ Familiarity with professional terminology to ensure accuracy and professionalism in translations.
Skills Required:
➢ Proficiency in using translation tools is preferred.
➢ Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
WORK LOCATION: ALONG THE ALBERTINE PETROLEUM PIPELINE
SALARY AND BENEFITS OFFERED: Gross 3million –4million depending one’s ability, Accommodation and meals.
