Facility & Maintenance Technician

An excellent opportunity exists for you to join The Aga Khan University, Uganda in the role of Facility & Maintenance Technician. The position will be based in Kampala, Uganda.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the University facilities, ensuring their safety and functionality across various systems, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC, to provide a conducive environment for The Aga Khan University, Uganda.

• Minimum downtime on Machinery & Equipment
• Achieve declining complaints from end users

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of Vocational training or certification in Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a University or complex projects.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
