IMK Business Consultants (IMK) is hiring a Gardener to work as directed within a given project to deliver high quality garden/grounds maintenance or landscaping services. You will be expected to be friendly and helpful to customers at all times, work with confidence and enthusiasm, be self motivated, adaptable, proactive and be a team player.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is typical of the duties a Landscape Gardener will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time:
- Maintaining customers’ gardens and one off garden tidies
- Mowing (with both informal and formal finishes)
- Trimming hedges (with both informal and formal finishes)
- Border and flower bed management
- Leaf/rubbish clearing
- Turfing
- Planting
- Working on landscaping projects
- Assisting with ground work in relation to tree operations (suitable candidates may in time receive appropriate arboricultural training)
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Fencing
- Decking
- Slab laying
- Wood working
- Walling
- Operating a chipper, mower, strimmer, stump grinder, pressure washer, digger, dumper and other machinery
- Maintaining tools and machinery
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.
