Arcadia Suites Hotel is hiring a Housekeeping Manager to lead our dedicated housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Implement and maintain effective cleaning procedures, hygiene practices, and inventory controls.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and supplies to optimize efficiency and cost control.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a five-star or luxury hotel setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in hospitality or housekeeping management are a plus.
- International experience outside Uganda is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
