Job Summary
The Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete pump trucks at construction sites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate concrete pump truck in accordance with site plans and safety standards.
Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with mixer truck drivers and site personnel to ensure proper timing and sequence of concrete pouring.
Monitor pump pressure and concrete flow to avoid blockages, overflows, or equipment damage.
Clean and maintain equipment after use.
Keep accurate records of volumes pumped, start/stop times, and operational issues.
Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
Be willing to work at multiple project sites and under various weather conditions.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience
Certificate or formal training in concrete pump operations from a recognized institution.
Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license
At least 2–3 years of experience in operating concrete pumps in civil or construction projects.
Knowledge of concrete mixes, pump operation, and site safety practices.
Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance on the pump truck.
Team player with good communication and coordination skills.
Strong safety awareness and discipline.
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
