GAMMA 5 LOGISTICS LIMITED, a subsidiary of the Madhvani Group, is currently seeking dynamic, competent, and experienced candidates for the post of Senior Accountant in Jinja, Uganda.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in accounting, taxation, banking, and treasury management, preferably in the logistics and transportation sector. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and Ugandan tax laws, managing statutory filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSSF, and Corporate Tax), treasury and cash flow management, internal controls, and audit coordination. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and financial analysis is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, along with CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification, is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
