SINOPEC International Petroleum Service Co. (Uganda) Ltd is currently engaged in the construction of onshore facilities for the production, storage, and export of heavy and waxy crude oil through a Central Processing Facility (CPF), in partnership with McDermott, under the Tilenga EPSC project led by Total Energies E&P Uganda. Additionally, we are developing muttiple Well Pads, associated Rowines, and pipeline systems. Job Title: Diving Compliance Officer-(Lake Water Abstraction)
Main Responsibilities:
• Review and approve diving procedures, dive plans, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct on-site audits of diving operations, ensuring compliance with IMCA / ADCI / OSHA diving standards.
Liaise with subcontractors, construction, and marine teams to align diving activites with daily work plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in diving operations oversight, with at least 2 years in nearshore or lake-based projects.
Certification in diving supervision, auditing, or inspection (e.g., IMCA Diving Supervisor, ADCI, or equivalent).
