Our Uganda team is growing, and we’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to help us scale even greater heights.

Job Purpose:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting revenue growth through strategic outreach and proposal development. You will play a key role in driving business expansion and positioning Swivel Marketing Uganda as a market leader in experiential and integrated marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
 Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both existing and new markets
 Generate leads through networking, referrals, research, and cold outreach
 Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
 Prepare customized presentations, proposals, and marketing materials for client pitches
 Understand client needs and work with internal teams (creative, operations, finance) to develop appropriate solutions
 Represent the agency at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
 Track industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats
 Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including pipeline tracking and reporting
 Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Key Qualifications and Competencies:
 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
 Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in an advertising, marketing, or media agency
 Strong network of clients or contacts in FMCG, telecoms, financial services, or similar industries is an added advantage
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
 Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a target-driven environment
 Familiarity with marketing, digital, and brand activation strategies
 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
