The key purpose of this role is to ensure the effective implementation and upholding of AB Inbev safety standards while overseeing warehouse inventory and operations. Responsible for supervising the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods to optimize customer service levels and achieve benchmarked productivity standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Warehouse KPIs and Metrics:
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouses, with a strong focus on managing these metrics to ensure accurate measurement of operational efficiency and performance.
- Consolidate warehouse data and provide operational visibility into performance to inform strategic decisions.
Inventory Management Routines:
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly Stock take as per requirement in the zone inventory policy.
- Capture all counts onto the Stock master devices
- Do daily weekly and monthly stock Reconciliations for discrepancies found during all stock counts
- Aid the daily update the reconciliation books for both Empties and full good
- Daily Tracking of all warehouse losses, breaks and obsolescence
- Daily reconciliation of empties issued to the line vs Beer sent to warehouse
- Track all returns from the production line and report on loss
- Do MBFU survey for all glass issued to the line and identify Gaps
- Daily participate in FRI activity to Reduce Glass loss attributed to false rejection at EBI
- Daily tracking of Time in market (TIM) for Glass to enhance planning for injections
Warehouse Cost Management:
- Oversee cost management practices for warehouse, focusing on reducing inefficiencies, improving financial performance, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Ensure adherence to financial goals and provide guidance on warehouse budget management and cost optimization.
Consolidation of VLC Warehouse Budget and LE Processes:
- Support in the consolidation of VLC and LE initiatives within T1 warehouses.
- Ensure that logistics processes across warehouses are aligned and support the broader operational goals.
- Oversee budget tracking on warehouse variables to maintain financial visibility and drive cost-effective operations.
VPO Logistics Pillar:
- Support the development and execution of the VPO Logistics Pillar, ensuring the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and performance across T1 warehouses.
- Provide expertise to optimize logistics operations and ensure alignment with company-wide best practices.
DPO Warehouse Excellence:
- Support DPO Warehouse pillar Excellence by working with the Excellence program team and Coordinating effort with the T1 Brewery
- Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and continue the autonomous team journey.
T1 Warehouse MCRS:
- Lead warehouse shift meetings and PR for the team promoting synergy amongst sections.
- Continue improving MCRS providing consistent operational visibility into warehouse operations and performance.
- Streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and ensure alignment with operational goal.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Manage day-to-day production of Warehouse operations of 20+ Delivery employees
- Availability to work rotating shifts in a 24-hour operation
- Enforce and promote safe working practices
- Plan, direct and schedule all manpower and equipment needs to meet daily operational requirements
- Labor contract administration
- Update templates and communication tools (including Team Room Boards, Weekly Trackers, Labor Planning Tool and Meeting Decks) to provide routine visibility of operational performance
- Lead process improvement, identify/implement Best Practices and initiate change
- Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees and managers
- Strong leadership skills required.
- Proven ability to manage warehouse operations in a high-volume environment, including leadership of a large hourly workforce. Demonstrated operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements:
- University degree, Business and Industry related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated ability to lead an operations facility with direct supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
