ACTIVITIES
The main responsibility of the position holder’s:
- Responsible for the organization, management, and control of the Package requirements of the Offsite activities (Wellpads and Networks) and Interfaces with the Drilling activities.
- Preparation and management of activities related to the interconnecting networks (flowlines, pipelines) required for the first oil and/or critical planning and other wellpad facilities required for first oil
- Preparation and management of activities related to the post-first oil wellpad and interconnecting networks, procurement and construction
- Provide technical assistance to the WellPads & Network (Offsites) Package Manager on all matters related Wellpads & networks
- Monitor all parties involved in the WellPads & Network (Offsites) activities (EPC Contractor – Suppliers – Project team in interface) during every phases of the development of the WellPads & Network (Offsites) (engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning),
- Manage the interfaces of the WellPads & Network (Offsites) with the other packages (Enabling Infrastructure, Drilling, CPF). This will be made in cooperation with Tilenga Interface Manager/Engineers.
- Ensure that the WellPads & Network (Offsites) meets all Project requirements, and complies with all applicable rules, codes and standards, specifically with regards to HSSE requirements.
- Promote innovative and cost-effective solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Qualifications:
- Engineering degree
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ of proven experience in a similar role on site. Construction experience
- Some experience of construction onshore and preferably offshore with a good understanding of the construction constraints and implications for the project development.
- Capacity to manage activities on a construction site is a must.
- Conversant with International, group engineering standards, as well as HSE standards.
- Ability to understand the specific risk induced by offshore installation activities.
- Good communication skills and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments
- Competencies:
- Strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial skills.
- A good experience in planning, budgeting and managing interfaces.
- Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
- Some experience of construction onshore or offshore with a good understanding of the construction constraints and implications for the project development.
- Conversant with International, group engineering standards, as well as HSE standards.
